A battlefield-sized game of dodgeball.

The first in a series of games exploring the American Civil War, Charge of the Rubber Ball Brigade plunges players into the chaos of a full battlefield charge into oncoming artillery. Inspired by Pickett’s Charge at the Battle of Gettysburg, this hectic hybrid of capture-the-flag and dodgeball asks players to rush into danger with the full awareness that they likely won’t return. The game was played at Come Out & Play San Francisco 2011, Come Out & Play New York in 2012 and Playpublik 2012 in Berlin.
